Iranian media reported that on Wednesday, April 22, an employee of a “highly sensitive state organization” in the field of passive defense, accused of active contacts with an officer of the Israeli intelligence service Mossad, was executed.

A day earlier, on Tuesday, Iranian authorities executed another man accused of participating in the January protests and also of contacts with the Mossad.

Since the start of the second Iranian war, Iran has executed dozens of people the regime blames for contacts with Israel, alleged opposition membership or involvement in the January protests.
