Israel launched new strikes in southern Lebanon in response to Hezbollah attacks

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations has stated that he is not sure that the extended ceasefire will completely end the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, which is recognized as a terrorist organization by the West. In an interview with CNN, Danny Danon said the Lebanese government does not control the Iranian-backed movement. “Hezbollah is firing rockets trying to disrupt the ceasefire, and Israel should retaliate,” he said.

The Minister of Defense of Israel, in turn, announced that they are ready to resume the war against Iran as well. Israel Katz said the military is waiting for a “green light” from the US to eliminate the Khamenei dynasty in the first place. Katz also threatened to attack Iran’s energy infrastructure and return the country to the “Stone Age”.

“This time the attack will be different and deadly. Devastating blows will be delivered to the most painful places, which will shake and collapse the foundations of the country,” said Katz.

Israel and Lebanon extended a ceasefire for three weeks at a White House meeting brokered by President Donald Trump, who said he was ready to wait for the “best deal” to end the conflict with Iran.
