MARKETS: Shares on the rise in Asia, the rise in oil prices leveled off

In Asia, stocks have been on the rise on Monday after Iran reportedly offered the United States a new deal to open the Strait of Hormuz to maritime traffic. The proposal was reported by Axios.

On the stock market, the MSCI Asia Pacific index rose by approximately 1.7 percent on Monday. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index is up 1.9 percent and the Topix index is up 0.9 percent.
