The new Forthing S7 REEV brings a contemporary design, advanced technological features and a special emphasis on comfort and safety. Riječ is about a model that raises the standards in its class and meets the needs of modern drivers, combining an attractive appearance with a high level of functionality and innovation.

During the event, media representatives had the opportunity to learn more about the characteristics of the vehicle and try it out. As part of the official part of the program, the chief executive officer of the Auto Hrvatska Business Group, Mr. Alen Vuksan-Ćusa, and the director of the company Auto Hrvatska Importer doo, importer for Forthing, Dongfeng and DFSK for Croatia, Mr. Goran Banđen, addressed the crowd, who presented the brand development vision and the key advantages of the new model.

O modelu Forthing S7 REEV

Forthing S7 REEV represents a new model in the EV range of the D segment: the Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) architecture enables a combined range of 1,250 km, 156 km electric range according to the WLTP standard and a record Cd coefficient of 0.191 — all at a recommended retail price of EUR 32,990 including VAT, including all costs until registration.

What is REEV and the difference between PHEV and BEV

Forthing S7 REEV uses REEV (Range Extended Electric Vehicle) architecture, which is fundamentally different from PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) vehicles.

The key difference: the gasoline engine in the S7 REEV never directly drives the wheels. The gasoline engine functions exclusively as a generator of electrical energy, which charges the battery when necessary. The trainč always drives electric — regardless of battery charge level.

Promo package for first time customers.

Auto Hrvatska Importer doo introduces a special promo package for the first buyers of the S7 REEV model. The package (included in the regular price of the vehicle) is intended to build long-term customer trust.

This package includes regular maintenance for five years, during which all services are provided, as well as free basic insurance and comprehensive insurance in the first year of ownership.

Another Mage model introduced

For the very end of the event, Auto Hrvatska prepared a surprise – an exclusive preview of another model for the Croatian market. Riječ is about the Dongfeng Mage model, an SUV model of the C segment, which will be on Croatian roads until the end of May. The vehicle comes in the E3 version, the only equipment package planned for Croatia, and deliveries are expected at the end of May this year.

The Mage engine is equipped with the MACH series engine — Dongfeng’s own development, based on a proven engineering foundation. The engine is characterized by extremely high thermal efficiency of 41%. The turbo gasoline “four-cylinder” unit with a volume of 1,476 cm³ develops 145 kW (197 hp) and a torque of 305 Nm. Paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission, acceleration from 0-100 km/h is 8.5 seconds. The same engine platform will be used for PHEV versions in the future.

Equipment

The E3 version includes as standard the ADAS active safety system, glass interior, panoramic roof, LED lights, 360° camera and 20-inch rims. All available colors — white, black, silver, blue and white with a black roof — will be available to customers at no extra charge.

The market

Sales on the Croatian market increased in the second quarter. The vehicle is on sale in Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
