One size too big: Sinner defeats young star Jodar

Jannik Sinner continues its impressive run of success. The Italian has not lost a game since February, since a defeat in the quarter-finals in Doha against Czech Jakub Mensik. In the meantime he is already holding on 21 wins in a row.

The world number 1 is already in the final of the Masters 1000 tournament in Madrid. The young Spanish star Rafael Jodar Jannik Sinner was able to challenge at times, but in the end the favorite had the upper hand with 6:2 and 7:6.

By reaching the quarter-finals, 19-year-old Jodar will improve his world rankings to 34th place. Last year he finished 168th in the world.
