Kuwait reported foiling an infiltration attempt from the sea

Kuwait’s armed forces stopped an attempt to illegally enter the country from the sea and detained four people in territorial waters.

According to Defense Ministry spokesman Colonel Saud al-Atwan, the military detected and intercepted intruders trying to illegally enter Kuwait by sea. Legal procedures have been initiated against the detainees, after which they will be handed over to the competent authorities to complete the investigation.

The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that the operation was carried out as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the security of the country’s maritime borders.
