Pnrr: Fixed, targeted revisions by EU states by May

“Today the European Commission – he says – published the guidelines to accompany the Member States in the final phase of the Recovery and Resilience Facility. We are working, alongside national governments, to ensure that all available resources are used in the best possible way by the 2026 deadlines“.

The guidelines, he continues, “serve to clarify, simplify and accelerate the reporting and evaluation phase of the achievement of the objectives, facilitating the management of payment requests by the Member States and the subsequent verification and payment phase by the Commission”.

The new flexibility introduced, continues Vice President Fitto, “allows and encourages Member States to submit targeted reviews by May 31st. Especially in a difficult and delicate phase like this, it is essential to work together to direct resources where they are most strategic and necessary.”
