Fantastic Gaming Show is growing: ‘Croatia is getting a serious gaming ecosystem…’

During two days, Pula became the central gathering place for students from all over Croatia. Through the Croatian School Esports League, a national school esports league developed by Fantastic, participants arrived from different parts of the country after online qualifications to represent their schools and compete in the finals of the competition.

Today, the Fantastic Gaming Show goes beyond the boundaries of a classic event. This year, the program brought a strong educational focus through STEM workshops, 3D printing technology and innovation presentations, with the active participation of educational institutions and representatives of the technology community.

Special emphasis was placed on the panels that opened the topics of future occupations, the development of digital industries and the key role of education in preparing young people for the labor market. It is precisely through such contents that the event continuously builds its educational and developmental value.

In addition to the educational segment, visitors could also enjoy a rich entertainment program that successfully connected different generations. Cosplay competitions, dance performances, gaming tournaments and interactive workshops created a dynamic environment where creativity, gaming culture and contemporary trends meet.

This year’s edition additionally emphasized the international character of the event, with the participation of partners and indie studios from several countries, and a significant step forward was made towards the internationalization of the project.

As part of the program, special awards were given to participants and partners who, with their contribution, actively participate in the development of the community and the further growth of the project.

The event is realized with the support of the County of Istria as a co-organizer, in partnership with the City of Pula and the TZ of the Istrian County and the TZ of the City of Pula, which further confirms its institutional importance and recognition.

Let’s remind you that in 2025, the Fantastic Gaming Show was declared the best event in the Istrian province, which gave the organizers additional confirmation of quality, as well as responsibility for continuously raising standards.

The vision of the organizers remains unchanged – the development of a sustainable system that provides young people with concrete opportunities through education, competitions and connections with the industry.

After another successful edition, the Fantastic Gaming Show clearly shows that it does not just build an event, but an event. a long-term ecosystem that has an ever-increasing influence on youth, education and community development in Croatia.
