The technician Allan Aal said goodbye to Londrina with a long statement after his departure was made official on Monday night (4). In a tone of gratitude, the coach highlighted his identification with the club and valued the work carried out over just over five months.
Allan Aal highlighted that, upon taking command, he was aware of the challenge, but was confident in the group’s potential. According to him, the team managed to become competitive within the club’s limitations.
“We managed, together with the board, to build a competitive team, within the club’s reality, and we had a solid trajectory in the state,” he said. The coach also made a point of remembering the campaign in the Campeonato Paranaense, in which Londrina reached the final undefeated, but ended up finishing runner-up after defeat on penalties.
Londrina had difficulties in the first games of Series B
Regarding Series B, Allan Aal cited the high level of difficulty of the competition and the initial sequence against strong opponents as factors that impacted performance.
“In the first six games we faced teams considered favorites to qualify. I know the pitfalls and fluctuations of such a balanced competition”, he explained.
Despite his confidence in a reaction, the coach said he respected the board’s decision to end the work. “I was very confident that we could react, but I respect the decision made and I will continue to support the best for Londrina”, he added.
