Urban infrastructures and local services, the new synergies between public health, prevention and sports culture

In addition to the provision of traditional healthcare services, the scientific and popular debate systematically addresses the impact of new technologies on lifestyle habits. A specific section of the program analyzes the relationship between sport and digital evolution, examining how computational models, the use of data and new virtual languages ​​are changing training methods, performance management and the narration of disciplines. This technological approach extends to the sociological analysis of the risks associated with childhood and adolescence, focusing on the conscious use of digital devices and the importance of balancing daily virtualization with physical activity and Paralympic sport, understood as levers for community cohesion and longevity.

The project highlights the need to transform large consumption nodes into meeting places and public services, overcoming the logic of the single commercial transaction in favor of a valuable relationship with the territory. This vision is confirmed by the management of the host structure, which underlines the evolution of the social role of urban centres. Antonino D’Agostino, Director of the RomaEst Shopping Center, specified that “a shopping center today has the duty to give something back to the area in which it is located. For us it means networking with local institutions and realities and creating opportunities like ‘Sei Delle Torri’, where the pleasure of being together is combined with a concrete social commitment”.
