It is clear that Jabra wanted to redefine what we expect from professional headphones and The first thing that surprised us was its lightness. Despite being over-ear headphones, the new design is much more stylish and comfortable than previous generations. In fact, the Evolve3 85 are 35% thinner and 23% lighter than the Evolve2 85, something that is noticeable from the first moment. They are one of those headphones that you can wear all day and practically forget that you have them on.

We also think the portable approach of the product is very successful. Added to this is a very effective adaptive active noise cancellation, capable of automatically adjusting according to the environment.

Additionally, we particularly liked the integration of the 360° busy light, which automatically illuminates during calls to clearly indicate ‘do not disturb’. It seems like a minor detail, but in open offices or hybrid spaces it ends up being really useful.

In terms of connectivity, they are also clearly oriented towards the professional environment. The Jabra Evolve3 85 are certified for the main video calling platforms and the connection is immediate and very stable. Thanks to it, the connection experience is immediate and totally ‘plug & play’, making it very easy to jump between different devices and work spaces.

Another important aspect in the work environment is safety. Jabra has incorporated in the Evolve3 85 Enterprise-grade encryption and secure chipsets to protect calls, voice messages and data without the need for complex configurations. In a context where more and more sensitive meetings are held from anywhere, it seems to me to be an important added value and very aligned with the professional approach of the product, where Jabra uses its B2B muscle to expand its customer base.
