This option allows you to quickly pull a photo before recipients see it, but it’s easy to miss in a moment of panic.

Another way is to delete the photo from the archive. You can access your archive of Instants by tapping the icon with four squares in the upper right corner of the camera. Find the photo you want to drag and delete it. By deleting it from the archive, you will prevent it from being seen by all friends who haven’t opened it yet.

How to turn off Instants completely?

For those who want to completely remove this feature from their interface, the process is relatively simple. First, you need to go to your profile and click on the menu with three dashes in the upper right corner to open the settings. After that, scroll down to the “Content Preferences” option and within that menu find the “Hide Instants in Inbox” toggle.

By activating this option, you will no longer see Instants in your inbox, nor will you receive photos sent to you by others using the feature. If you don’t want to permanently disable the option, more is only temporarily hidden, you can press and hold a bunch of Instants in your inbox and swipe right to mute them temporarily.
