The South District Design and Construction District Commission has approved two new plans from the Ministry of Construction and Housing for Yeruham and Dimona to submit protests.
In Yeruham, it is planned to build a new quarter with 1,205 housing units, as well as retail, business and craft areas, public buildings, sports and recreational areas.
At the entrance to the block, a city square has been designed, around which there will be buildings combining retail, business and public functions, as well as a conference hall.
In addition, the plan provides for the expansion of the sports and recreational area adjacent to the Yeruhama football stadium.
