STOCK EXCHANGE: Qt Group is sluggish in the rising stock market

The Helsinki Stock Exchange closed on Tuesday with a gentle rise. The general index strengthened by 0.1 percent to 13,723 points.

At the top of the main list was a software company Qt Groupwhose price closed up 9.4 percent.

The stock has been on the rise since the first interim results report. In a month, the course has tightened by almost 25 percent. Yesterday the company announced that Goldman Sachs the shareholding in the company has risen above the five percent flagging limit.

In addition, today, Tuesday, Bloomberg reported that institutional investors closed their short positions by buying shares. J.P. Morgan reduced its net short position in Qt Group by 8.25 percent to 226,685 shares and Capital Fund Management by 10.0 percent to 137,539 shares.

Also a bargain Tokmanni announced in the morning that Goldman Sachs’ ownership has exceeded the five percent limit.

On Tuesday, there was one earnings announcement, when the pharmaceutical technology company Nanoform published by its interim report for January–March.

Nanoform’s turnover grew to 1.3 million euros in January–March, and the company made 0.9 million euros at the same time last year, i.e. a growth of 45 percent.

Infrastructure developer GRK Infra announced that it is participating in the implementation of the first construction phase of the Turku tramway. The official signing of the agreement is expected to take place in September 2026, when the project will be transferred to GRK’s order book.

Alisa Bank announced about the change in its management team. The bank said it had appointed One Uskin as the new CIO and member of the management team.
