Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès: “proof of recent life” and “credible witnesses”, M 6 promises “revelations” on the case

Is Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès still alive? Nearly 15 years after his disappearance, following the discovery of the bodies of his wife and their four children buried under the terrace of their house, the case continues to fascinate. It will be the subject of a “Call for witnesses” program which will be broadcast on M 6 on Tuesday June 2.

The channel, cited by the Dauphiné Libéré, promises “exclusive revelations” on the affair as well as a new “unpublished element”. Without further details, M 6 indicates that the latter would constitute “proof of recent life” of the father sought since April 2011.

Former police officer refutes suicide theory

The program presented by Julien Courbet intends to explore several questions, including: “Did he benefit from the help of an accomplice, in particular for several reservations at Formula 1 paid for with a bank card that was not his? », “Why did Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès book a hotel in Saint-Nazaire a few days before the crimes? », “Why would he have stayed in a campsite? »

Gilles Gadoux, a former police officer specializing in cybercrime who published a book on Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès, should be among the speakers. He refutes the theory of suicide and assures that Dupont de Ligonnès left for the United States from Nice in April 2011. Jacques Dallest, former public prosecutor of Grenoble, will also participate in the show.

In 2011, following the quintuple murder, Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès, suspect number 1, completely disappeared from the radar screens. Although for fifteen years the craziest theories have been circulating about him, the Nantes resident has never been found, alive or dead.
