Streamer Domingo will be live from Fort Boyard on Twitch on Monday, accompanied by other creators

A new illustration of the connections between new media and the small screen. Before the TV show restarts in July, streamer Domingo will be live from Fort Boyard on Monday for a live broadcast on the Twitch platform, France Télévisions announced on Friday.

This operation is part of France Télévisions’ desire to develop “new formats capable of bringing together audiences from television and digital platforms”, explained the public group in a press release.

This Twitch live will begin at 8:30 p.m. on Domingo’s channel, followed by 2 million people. He will be joined by other content creators, Baghera, ZeratoR and Clem Qui Court.

New collaborations

“On the program: an exclusive exploration of the Fort like you’ve never seen it, surprises, challenges… with the intervention of Cyril Féraud”, the new host of Fort Boyard, it is indicated in the press release.

Traditional TV channels, in the midst of a shift towards streaming, are trying to attract figures from social networks. TF 1 is collaborating with YouTuber Gaspard G for the 2027 presidential election, and France Télévisions launched the show “En tension” at the end of April with HugoDécrypte, already present on the public group since 2023 with his “face hidden interviews”.

Produced by Banijay France, Fort Boyard will restart on Saturday July 4 for the entire summer. An emblematic show on French TV since 1990, the summer adventure game will now be presented by Cyril Féraud, a major figure at France Télévisions, who succeeds Olivier Minne.
