There are reports that the US and Iran have agreed to extend the ceasefire by 60 days

Journalist Barak Ravid reported in his blog on the X network that the United States and Iran have reached an agreement on a memorandum of understanding. The document includes a 60-day extension of the ceasefire, during which negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program will begin.

Barak Ravid, citing two senior American officials and a source in the region, notes that US President Donald Trump has not yet approved the document.

According to one American official, “the president conveyed to the mediators that he needed a few days to think before he made a final decision.”
