The survey released by ge.globo shows that the top three are the big names of the generation that marked world football in the last two decades: Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Neymar. Together, they have more than 1.4 billion followers on the social network.

In addition to Neymar, Brazil appears in the ranking with Vinicius Júnior, from Real Madrid, in sixth place with 59.8 million followers, Casemiro, from Manchester United, in 15th place with 22.2 million, and Raphinha, from Barcelona, ​​who occupies 20th place with 19.6 million.

Brazil alone leads the list. Next come Spain, with Lamine Yamal and Pedri; England, with Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford; and France, represented by Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé, all with two players each.

The other countries have only one representative in the ranking: Egypt, with Mohamed Salah; Colombia, with James Rodríguez; Norway, with Erling Haaland; Croatia, with Luka Modrić; Belgium, with Kevin De Bruyne; Morocco, with Achraf Hakimi; Uruguay, with Federico Valverde; and Holland, represented by Memphis Depay.

Brazil seeks to avoid the longest fast in history

After beating Panama 6-2 in their last match before the trip, the Brazilian team headed to the United States and arrived in the country this Tuesday (2). The team will also play a preparatory friendly against Egypt next Saturday (6), at 7pm, before turning all its attention to the World Cup.
