Hansi Flick repeats as LaLiga’s best coach after revalidating the title with Barça

The coach of FC Barcelona, ​​the German Hansi Flick, has been distinguished as Best Coach of LaLiga EA Sports 2025/26 after leading the Blaugrana team to win their second consecutive league championship.

The German coach once again receives this recognition after a season in which Barça became champion with 94 points and maintained the dominance shown in the previous campaign, Flick’s first, consolidating and evolving his football proposal.

With Flick, Barça closed the championship with only six defeats in the 38 rounds played and was also the highest scoring team in the tournament, with 95 goals scored.

Among Barça’s most notable achievements is also an unprecedented record in the recent history of the competition, by becoming the first team capable of winning all its home games in a 38-match League. The Blaugranas achieved a total of 19 victories in 19 games in Barcelona.

LaLiga highlighted in a statement the consistency and performance shown by the team led by Flick, which has managed to keep Barça at the top of Spanish football for the second season in a row.

In the final vote, the German coach prevailed over the other candidates for the award; José Bordalás, coach of Getafe, and Marcelino García Toral, coach of Villarreal.
