Florentino Pérez announces Dumfries and promises “a total galactic”

The candidate to be re-elected president of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez, announced this Thursday the signing of Denzel Dumfries and revealed that on Tuesday he will make an offer of around 150 million euros to a Champions team for a “total galactic”.

“We have talked about Mourinho and Konaté, and now I am talking about Dumfries. On Tuesday I am going to make an important offer to a great team in the Champions League, for a great player that would be the largest amount of money that Real Madrid would pay for a transfer in its history. 150 million at least,” he said this Thursday night in an interview on the Cuatro program ‘Horizonte’.

Florentino asked for a vote for his candidacy and announced a new signing with the Dutch full-back from Inter Milan, after announcing his new coach, José Mourinho, and Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté on Wednesday. “I’m excited, he’s a coach we know, who taught us great competitiveness,” he said.

“After he left we won 6 European Cups, we think that it could be that stimulus again to win the Champions League every year, which is what the members want,” he added about the Portuguese coach. “All the good players want to come to Real Madrid, nobody has that history,” he noted.
