The singer Alejandro Sanz begins this Saturday, June 6, his tour in Spain with a stop at the La Cartuja stadium, at 10:00 p.m. – the second date in Andalusia will be in Fuengirola (Málaga) on July 24 -, where he will present his new album: ‘And now what?’. In this regard, the artist has been “very happy” to begin his tour “at home.” The last time he gave a concert in the Andalusian capital was just six years ago, when he brought together 45,000 people at the Benito Villamarín stadium.
This is what he expressed on his social networks, consulted by Europa Press. “Hello my people, hello family. I am very happy to start the tour in Spain. I really want to see you and enjoy the concerts,” said the excited Madrid singer, who will combine his greatest hits with the most recent songs in his repertoire, including his latest album.
For days, some of his followers, as happened at that last concert in Seville, have been waiting impatiently in the Cartuja grounds for the stadium doors to open.
After starting in 2026 in Mexico, with a triumphant tour where he was ‘sold out’ on his first dates and sold out the last tickets for the rest of the tour, the award-winning Spanish artist will present in Seville songs such as ‘Palmeras en el Jardín’ – a song that marked the beginning of this new stage -, ‘Hoy No Me Sentiment Bien’, together with Grupo Frontera, and ‘El Vino de Tu Boca’.
On his Latin American tour he has visited Bogotá (Colombia); Quito and Guayaquil (Ecuador); Lima (Peru); Santiago (Chile); Rosario, Córdoba and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
After the premiere in La Cartuja, the tour will continue through cities such as Gijón, Bilbao, Mallorca, Madrid, Barcelona, Gran Canaria, Murcia, Valencia and A Coruña.
With more than 25 million records sold throughout his career, all of his albums have achieved Multiple Platinum status in Spain, Latin America and the United States. Sanz is also the Spanish artist with the most Grammy awards in history, with a total of 22 Latin Grammys and 4 Grammys.
