VDP, new offices in Sardinia and Puglia for the infrastructural monitoring of the energy transition

On the Sardinian territory, the engineering activity focuses on the application of environmental monitoring protocols applied to the framework contracts for the main road arteries of the island, including the SS131 Carlo Felice, the Sassari-Olbia and the Sassari-Alghero, extending the use of ecological impact detection technologies also to the port infrastructures within the Cagliari port.

In Puglia, however, technological and civil engineering processes support the development of the energy transition and the modernization of transport, focusing on environmental controls along the SS275 Maglie-Leuca, on the new generation nodes of the railway network and on the technical implementation of large photovoltaic systems. Physical proximity to construction sites allows the adoption of technological solutions for tracking sustainability indicators in the field, accelerating data collection and implementing cooperation with specialized local technicians.

Regarding the industrial objectives linked to this logistical enhancement, Francesco Ventura, Sole Director of the VDP and OICE Councilor with responsibility for the Environment, specified: “The choice to open two new offices in Sardinia and Puglia comes from the desire to consolidate a presence built over time through work and experience gained in the area. This is a strategic investment that strengthens our ability to support institutions and clients in the creation of increasingly sustainable, innovative and integrated works with the environmental context“.
