New information about Christian Eriksen

Denmark star player of the national team Christian Eriksen will soon be able to go home from the hospital, says the national team’s doctor Morten Boesen.

“I spoke with Christian this morning and he is doing well. He is with his family and in good spirits. We believe he will be home soon,” says Boesen in an update shared by the Danish Football Association.

Eriksen collapsed on the pitch during the match between Denmark and Ukraine played on Sunday evening. After quick medical procedures, he was able to walk to the ambulance himself.

Eriksen’s heart stopped during the European Championship match between Finland and Denmark played in the summer of 2021. Since the incident, he has been playing with a pacemaker.

The 34-year-old Konkar’s illness was another shocking moment for his teammates. Several players cried in shock when Eriksen was treated on the pitch.

Boesen says that the Danish federation offers support to the players of the national team.

“We take good care of the players and the team’s background people. We keep in constant contact with them.”

of Denmark and the Ukraine match was not continued after Eriksen’s concussion. At the time of the stoppage, Denmark was leading the match 2–1.

Denmark did not qualify for the World Cup, which starts this week.
