Trump announced the elimination of the leader of the Venezuelan criminal group Tren de Aragua

Donald Trump announced that the US military has eliminated Hector Rustenford Guerrero Flores, known as “Niño Guerrero”, considered the leader of the Venezuelan criminal group Tren de Aragua, the BBC reports.

In a message published on the social network Truth Social, the US President said that the US Southern Command carried out a “swift and deadly” attack and “successfully executed” the head of the group, which Trump described as “the deadliest terrorist organization on the planet.”

Attached to his post was a video showing a projectile hitting a building, which then caught fire.

According to Trump, the operation was carried out in close coordination with the Venezuelan government, but he did not specify where or when it took place. Trump promised to find the remaining members of the group and send them “to hell.”

Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth wrote on social media X that the strike took place earlier this week and Guerrero’s death was confirmed.
