Merus Power signed a 10 million euro contract

Renewable energy technology company Merus Power says he signed the contract Wpd Söderskogen Vindparkin with about the electricity storage project in Finland.

The value of the contract is 10 million euros.

The contract includes the supply of electrical warehouse equipment installed, commissioned and tested, as well as a service and maintenance contract. Commercial use of the electricity storage will begin in the summer of 2027.

Merus Power says the agreement strengthens the company’s position as a technology partner of international renewable energy players.

“This agreement is an important demonstration of trust in Merus Power’s European technology developed and manufactured in Finland, as well as the ability to deliver in significant projects. Wpd’s decision to implement its first electricity storage project with Merus Power’s technology is a significant demonstration of trust for us and strengthens our position in the growing flexibility and storage market. The service and maintenance agreement also supports the growth of our service business and the creation of value during the life cycle of electricity storage”, says Kari Tuomala, CEO of Merus Power.

Wpd Söderskogen Vindpark belongs to the international Wpd Group, which develops renewable energy projects.
