Lebanon is leading the ceasefire negotiations and is open to Iran’s help. Joseph Au

Lebanon is conducting its own negotiations on the ceasefire and any settlement with Israel will be implemented by Lebanon, the president of that country said.

Joseph Aoun wrote on the social network that “Lebanon’s path in the negotiations is independent”, which is what they emphasize in their contacts.

He added that Beirut “is definitely in favor of reaching a ceasefire and with any country that will help us, including Iran.”

“Negotiations are conducted by the Lebanese state, which is sovereign in its decisions, and no one replaces it, and any settlement will be made through us, not at our expense,” President Aoun wrote.
