Trump assures that he will attack Iran if both sides do not reach an agreement within 60 days after the memorandum

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, assured this Wednesday that he will order the bombing of Iran if an agreement is not reached with its authorities within the 60-day period stipulated for this from the signing of the memorandum of understanding.

“It is a memorandum of understanding. If it is not signed in 60 days, there is no problem. We will bomb again. I don’t want to do it because it is very good, but perhaps we have to do it because we will never allow them to have a nuclear weapon,” he said at a press conference from the French town of Évian, where a summit of G7 leaders is taking place this week.

The tenant of the White House has reiterated, once again, that the Government of Iran has agreed to renounce the possession and development of nuclear weapons, which “is seen very clearly in the agreement” reached days ago. “If they don’t comply, we will probably bomb them again until they comply,” he insisted, after praising himself for being the “toughest” president with the Asian country in history.

The Iranian authorities “will work closely with us to eliminate the so-called enriched material found in the depths of the earth,” said the US president, who has again threatened to attack “with Patriot missiles” against Iran “if they try to access” the uranium.

The parties have confirmed that an event for the signing of the memorandum of understanding will be held on Friday in Switzerland, after which a 60-day process will be opened to negotiate the details of a definitive peace agreement, amid warnings from Iran about Israel’s attacks against Lebanon, which it considers a violation of the agreement with Washington.

President Trump has expressed himself in this sense, acknowledging disagreements with the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, regarding his offensive on Lebanese territory. “We have a little dispute about Lebanon.
