Concert without a headscarf: 74 lashes for Iranian singer

In Paris, police banned a demonstration by an Iranian opposition group planned for Saturday. The French capital-based opposition group National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) said the ban was issued late on Thursday evening.

According to her own information, she lodged an objection against the decision. The group initially did not give reasons for the ban. The rally was approved several months ago.
