Source: Israel and Hezbollah agree to ceasefire

Israel and Hezbollah have agreed to a ceasefire that will take effect at 4 p.m., a senior U.S. official told Reuters.

There has been no confirmation of this information yet.

Previously, the US told Iran that Israel would not increase the intensity of its strikes in southern Lebanon, but now “everything depends on whether Hezbollah stops,” CNN reported, citing its own source.

A source familiar with the situation told CNN: Hezbollah violated the ceasefire. Israel agreed to leave everything as it was, which was conveyed to the Iranians, and now it’s up to Hezbollah to stop.”
