The Prime Minister discussed issues related to the RA-EU cooperation agenda with the EU ambassadors

According to the government, issues related to the Armenia-EU cooperation agenda were discussed during the meeting.

“Thoughts were exchanged on the reform agenda, strengthening the rule of law, economic cooperation, infrastructure development, energy resilience, as well as the regional stability and peace agenda,” the government’s release said.

It is reported that at the meeting with the ambassadors of the European Union member states accredited in Armenia, “the continuation of high-level political dialogue and the expansion of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest” was emphasized.

Recently, the EU reported that the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will arrive in Armenia this week amid political pressure from Russia to emphasize Brussels’ support to Armenia.

It was reported that the President of the European Commission will also visit Azerbaijan.

“The purpose of von der Leyen’s upcoming visit to the South Caucasus is to show the EU’s support to those countries,” the European Union reports, according to Reuters.

EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos will also visit Armenia on July 5.
