STOCK EXCHANGE: IQM is happy on the Helsinki Stock Exchange with an increase of more than 20 percent

The Helsinki stock exchange opened on Friday with a 0.35 percent increase at 13,507.19 points.

Trading quantum computing company IQM Quantum Computersin’s shares started trading on the Helsinki Stock Exchange today under the trading symbol “IQMX”. IQM’s share was momentarily up 14.6 percent at 17.0 euros after the start of trading.

Half an hour after the start of trading, the stock was up more than 20 percent.

Trading in the share started at 15.00 euros.

IQM shares were already traded in the US yesterday. IQM was listed on the technology-focused Nasdaq stock exchange through a SPAC arrangement, in which it merged with a company already listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange Real Asset Acquisitioniin. IQM’s share rose 2.0 percent on the Yankee market on Thursday.

Nokian the share rose 1.7 percent at the opening of the stock market.

The stock markets in other parts of Europe also opened in an upward direction. In Germany, the DAX index rose by 0.9 percent after the start of trading. The DAX index rose to record highs on Friday. The previous peak of the index was in January.

The Helsinki exchange grew from last June

Nordnet’s according to the Helsinki Stock Exchange, the euro exchange rate rose by up to 86.2 percent from June a year ago.

The exchange’s euro-denominated trade increased by 6.0 percent from the euro-denominated activity of May 2026. Trading in units increased by 3.1 percent compared to May.

Employment pension insurance company Varma made an additional $40 million investment in IQM as part of the company’s IPO in the United States. With the investment, Varma was the largest single investor in the institutional additional financing package.

Varma has been an investor in IQM since 2022.

A gold mining company Endominesin gold production was at a record level in the first half of the year.

At the company’s Pampalo mine, gold production increased by 9.7 percent in January–June 2026 compared to the corresponding period in 2025. Also in April–June, gold production increased by 9.7 percent compared to the reference period of 2025 and was 147.3 kilograms and 4,737 ounces. The company’s January–June production volume is the highest six-month production volume since the restart of production in December 2021.

Shipping company Tallin too the number of passengers decreased by 7.2 percent from June last year. In June, the company carried 556,056 passengers. The company’s number of freight units increased by 2.0 percent in June. The number of passenger cars decreased by 11.2 percent compared to a year ago.

In the second quarter, the number of passengers in Tallink decreased by 2.2 percent from the comparison period. The number of passengers in Tallin was 1.45 million passengers. In April-June, the number of freight units in Tallink increased by 2.9 percent and the number of passenger cars decreased by 6.5 percent compared to a year ago.
