Turkish authorities deported a Russian woman who was accused in her homeland of “discrediting the army”

The Turkish authorities deported 24-year-old Ariadna Litvinova to the Russian Federation, who in her home country is accused of “discrediting the army” for anti-war inscriptions on “patriotic” posters. This was reported by the Prison Lawyer Telegram channel.

The girl was expelled from Turkey on July 4. She arrived at Vnukovo airport. There is no connection with her. Human rights activists suggest that she is being taken to St. Petersburg to be placed in a pre-trial detention center.

The publication “That’s So” writes that Litvinova came to the attention of Russian security forces in February 2025 after she wrote on an advertisement for a war exhibition: “Murderers. Peace for Ukraine. Freedom for political prisoners.” Soon the girl was detained and fined 50 thousand rubles for “discrediting” the army, and a criminal case was opened for vandalism. The court initially remanded her in custody and later released her, imposing a number of restrictions on her. After this, Litvinova left Russia. In August 2025, she flew to Turkey, where her father lives.
