Her brother is the star of Rijeka, and now he is strengthening the ranks of Međimurje!

She took her first football steps in her native Portugal, where she went through the junior categories of Estoril Praia and Sporting, and also played for the first team of the Portuguese giants. She also performed for Apollon Ladies in Cyprus, Damaiense and Vitoria.

Joana was also a young representative of Portugal, and continues her career in the ranks of ŽNK Međimurja. Tiago Dantas arrived in Rijeka last summer, for which he played 52 times and scored 10 goals with the same number of assists.
