Ostia is preparing to welcome Roma Urban Comics

Rome is preparing to welcome an event dedicated to the new generations. Sunday 12 July at 6.30 pm, at Big Babol The Spot di Ostiathe official presentation of Roma Urban Comicsthe new festival that from 18 to 20 September 2026 will transform one of the largest skateparks in Europe in a large village of pop and urban culture.

The meeting will represent an opportunity to reveal to the public, institutions, cultural operators and the media the program of the first edition of the festival, its objectives, the first confirmed guests and the numerous activities that will enliven the three days of the event. They will take part in the initiative Andrea MorelliCouncilor for Schools and Youth Policies of the X Municipality of Rome Capital e Valentina ProdonVice President and Councilor for the Ecological Transition, Environment and Sport of the X Municipality of Rome Capital. Involved in the organization of the event are the associations ASD Oasi Verde, which manages Big Babol The Spot and APS Altri Characteri, creator and organizer of Latina Comics & Games, an event which, in its first edition in October 2025, attracted over 30,000 visitors, establishing itself as one of the most attended events dedicated to pop culture in Central Italy.

Roma Urban Comics was born from an innovative idea: putting dialogue with the world of comics, gaming and fantasy and pop culture with that of urban sports, creating a new format on the Italian scene. For three days, Big Babol The Spot will become a large space dedicated to creativity, entertainment and participation, with a program designed to involve families, young people, students and enthusiasts of all ages.
