Doctors-singers at the Toten Hosen concert in Berlin: Farin Urlaub and Campino sing “Cry for Love” together

An unexpected guest enriched the Toten Hosen’s Berlin concert. Doctors singer and guitarist Farin Urlaub sang the doctors classic “Cry for Love” together with Hosen frontman Campino on Saturday evening in the sold-out Berlin Olympic Stadium.

After 45 years on stage, Die Toten Hosen are on a farewell tour. “Drink up! We have to go,” is the name of the accompanying album. “An evening in the Berlin Olympic Stadium that we will remember for a long time. Thank you for a great concert!” the band wrote on Instagram afterwards.

They played in Berlin more than 60 times. Another star guest alongside Campino was Sven Regener, the singer of the band Element of Crime. The British punk pioneers The Stranglers and the Berlin band Beatsteaks were the opening acts.

Doctors or the Toten Hosen – for quite a few punk fans in Germany this is a question of faith. In addition, there has always been a media-driven rivalry in the past. But that was a long time ago for both bands.
