Lamine Yamal and Pedro Porro, on the sidelines in the first training session in New Jersey

The Spanish team completed its first training session in New Jersey this Thursday, specifically at the Melanie Lane Training Grounds, with winger Lamine Yamal and right back Pedro Porro on the sidelines of the group, after the semifinal against France and three days before the World Cup final in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The national team trained in Whippany, New Jersey, two days after beating France 0-2 in the semifinals and advancing to its second World Cup final. After that match, Lamine Yamal, who played every minute, ended up with discomfort and limping. And Pedro Porro also had to be substituted in the 84th minute due to physical problems.

Thus, the two footballers have trained on the sidelines in this Thursday’s session, when there are only three days left until the final against Argentina this Sunday. But the coach, Luis de la Fuente, already reassured after the semi-final match against the Gauls. “Lamine has nothing, as far as I know, and Pedro Porro seems to be an overload,” he said at a press conference.
