Kalle Rovanperä’s revelation – “In all likelihood, yes”

This year, Rovanperä defected from rallying to become a full-time racing driver. However, Toyota driver Rovanperä withdrew from the Japanese Super Formula series citing health problems.

At the end of last year, Rovanperä said that he was suffering from benign postural dizziness. He has not confirmed whether last spring’s health problems were related to the same problem.

Summer at the beginning, Rovanperä himself said about his health that everything is fine.

Manager Jouhki commented on Rovanperä’s professional situation on Tuesday.

“Things have been negotiated with Toyota to move forward. We’ll see, Toyota will surely make an announcement then,” Jouhki said.

Will Rovanperä continue in track racing?

“Apparently yes”, Jouhki stated.

Rovanperä himself thought at the beginning of the summer that he would still drive rally or track driving during the current year, at least as a hobby.

“I’ve probably never been without driving for so long. But it’s been good, there hasn’t been any crazy longing for the wheel.”

“But it’s slowly starting to feel like you’re going to “have” to drive something. But there’s no “plan” (plan) for that yet,” Rovanperä stated at the beginning of the summer.

Rovanperä was recently following on the spot Sami Pajarin24, won the Estonian World Rally Championship.

Rovanperä has previously said that he will also come to watch the World Rally Championship in Jyväskylä. This year, the 75th anniversary race will be gassed in the gravel gutters of Central Finland.

“Yes, it’s so interesting now when it comes to the home village. You have to go there to say hello to friends,” Rovanperä mentioned about the beginning of summer.
