The Egyptian government officially announced that a drone strike caused a fire on two liquefied natural gas tankers in the Mediterranean port of Damietta.
“The investigation is ongoing, and all necessary measures are being taken to protect Egypt’s national security,” the statement read, according to Reuters. It should be noted that no one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
