An explosion occurred at an aluminum smelter in an industrial zone located in the southern suburbs of Tehran. According to initial information, the tank exploded and a fire broke out. The explosion caused panic.

Note that the incident occurred against the backdrop of confrontation between Iran and the United States and reports of the cancellation at the last moment of a new massive strike on Iran, which was supposed to affect the industrial potential of the ayatollah regime.

During military operations, the United States and Israel repeatedly attacked heavy industrial enterprises. Thus, on April 8, Iran’s largest aluminum plant, located in Arak, was attacked.
