Spider Man: Brand New Day, the summer hit at the cinema

It only took twelve days for Spider Man : Brand New Day to reach $1.67 billion at the worldwide box office, according to the Associated Press. The film, worn by Tom Holland in the Spider-Man costume, exceeded one billion international revenues at an exceptional speed. At this stage, the blockbuster is already among the biggest hits in the history of cinema and ranks 12th worldwide, just behind Jurassic World according to Box Office Pro.

In the United States, the phenomenon is not weakening. For its second weekend, the feature film grossed around $145 million, a drop of around 60% compared to its launch. Although this may seem impressive, this decline remains comparable to Avengers: Endgamewhich had collected 147.4 million during its second weekend of operation in 2019.
