More than 13 tons of Argentine beef are withdrawn in the United States for not going through a mandatory health reinspection

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) reported this late Tuesday that they are withdrawing almost 13,600 kilos of Argentine meat from the market that was not fully inspected prior to distribution in Texas and Florida.

As reported by the Bloomberg news agency, the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service announced that the company Argentine Court LLCbased in Florida, was recalling several cuts of meat that failed reinspection upon entering the United States.

The strong growth is also reflected in the participation within the export business. The United States concentrated 16% of the total exported volume and close to 20% of the value of beef shipments made by Argentina during the first semester.
