PVI Insurance was nominated for the finals of Asia Insurance Industry Awards 2026

Asia Insurance Industry Awards 2026 (AIIA) marks the 30th year Asia Insurance Review has organized this award. Over three decades, AIIA has become one of the most prestigious industry awards in the region, for insurance businesses, reinsurers, brokers, financial service organizations and individuals operating in the insurance industry in Asia.

Applicants are considered on a variety of criteria such as performance, governance, innovation, service quality and contribution to the industry and community. In particular, “General Insurance Company of the Year” is for non-life insurance businesses with outstanding operating results and development capacity.

This year, the award recorded nearly 185 entries in 16 categories, of which 49 organizations and individuals were selected as finalists. PVI Insurance is one of 5 units participating in the “General Insurance Company of the Year” category (Non-life Insurance Enterprise of the Year).

In the same table as PVI Insurance, there are also regional insurance businesses such as MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd under MS&AD Insurance Group and Allianz Ayudhya under Allianz Group. In other categories, the finalist list includes AIA, HSBC Life, Fubon Life, Munich Re, RGA and Allianz Asia Pacific.

This is the second consecutive year that PVI Insurance has entered the final round of this category, after reaching the top 3 in 2025. Maintaining its presence in the final group gives the business the opportunity to be evaluated alongside major insurance companies in the region.

This result is built on the foundation of internal resources that the business has built over many years. The enterprise currently leads the Vietnamese non-life insurance market in terms of market share, and also possesses strengths in fields such as energy, maritime, property – engineering, liability, motor vehicles, people and large-scale insurance programs.

In parallel with business activities, PVI Insurance invests in technology, data, standardizes exploitation and compensation processes, and enhances customer experience. According to businesses, these are important factors that help strengthen domestic competitiveness and gradually approach the operating standards of the regional market.

The final results of the 30th Asia Insurance Industry Awards will be announced in the near future. PVI Insurance representative said that continuing to participate in the final evaluation round is an opportunity for the business to take another step in the journey of improving brand recognition in the Asian market.

Previously, PVI Insurance was also recognized at a number of domestic and international awards and rankings. On July 20, InsuranceAsia News announced the results of Country Awards for Excellence – Vietnam 2026. PVI Insurance won 4 out of 10 award categories, including three categories for businesses including Best General Insurer (Commercial), Best Digital Insurer and Outstanding Claims Management.

The awards respectively recognized PVI Insurance’s results in commercial insurance activities, digital transformation and compensation management and settlement. Along with that, Mr. Pham Anh Duc, General Director of PVI Insurance, was voted Outstanding CEO of the year by the jury, recognizing his contributions in management, operations and development orientation.

Next, on August 6, PVI Insurance Corporation for the third consecutive year ranked first in the ranking of “Top 10 prestigious non-life insurance companies in Vietnam in 2026” announced by Vietnam Report. The business has continuously appeared in the top 10 since the annual rankings were announced in 2016.
