In a meeting held this Friday, the Commission of Private House Workers resolved increase minimum wages in the sector. As established, the monthly increases will be applied between August and December.
This is the outline for the coming months:
August: there will be a 1.9% increase, plus a one-time non-remunerative sum of $ 20.000 for those who provide tasks more than 16 hours per week. At the same time, a payment of $ 11.500, for those who provide tasks less than 16 hours and more than 12 hours per week, and $ 8.000 for those who provide tasks less than 12 hours per week.
September: the increase will be 1.8%, plus the addition to the base of 25% of the non-remunerative sum for August.
October: There will be an increase of 1.7%, plus the incorporation of 50% of the non-remunerative sum for August into the base.

December: the increase will be 1.6%
