Techcombank CEO has an average income of nearly 3 billion VND per month

Mr. Jens Lottner, General Director of Techcombank, had an income of nearly 17 billion VND in the first half of the year, equivalent to an average of 2.82 billion VND per month.

According to the semi-annual reviewed financial report, Techcombank paid remuneration to the Board of Directors, the Supervisory Board and the General Director’s salary a total of 32.9 billion VND, an increase of more than 6% over the same period last year. In particular, CEO Jens Lottner’s income improved by 29%, to 16.9 billion VND, equivalent to 2.82 billion VND per month.

Mr. Jens Lottner was born in Germany and holds a PhD in Economics from Dresden University of Technology. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of finance and banking at large organizations such as McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group and Siam Bank (Thailand). This businessman was appointed General Director of Techcombank from August 2020.

Not only senior leaders, Techcombank employees’ income also increased in the first half of the year. Accordingly, each employee at this bank has an average monthly salary of about 46 million VND, an improvement of 4.5% compared to last year. In the first half of the year, the bank spent VND 3,576 billion on personnel fees.

In the first half of the year, Techcombank’s pre-tax profit reached VND 18,500 billion, an increase of 22.5%. With this result, the bank has completed more than half of the year’s plan. The growth driver comes from two main operating areas: net interest income (improved by 16.3%) and service sales increased by 73% over the same period.

As of June 30, Techcombank’s total assets reached more than 1.27 million billion VND, of which customer loans reached 847.336 billion VND, an increase of 10.4%. Bad debt ratio is at 1.08%. Along with that, total customer deposits increased by 7% compared to the end of last year, reaching VND 662,448 billion.
