A big pot for Heliövaara – a worrying comment from Patten in the victory interview

Getting to the third round means a total of 80,000 dollars for the Finnish-British couple, i.e. 40,000 dollars per man.

Heliövaara and Patten managed to use three of their six breaking points. Arnaldi and Struff got one break point, but there was no result.

Heliövaara, who suffers from ankylosing spondylitis, has suffered from back problems, and even Sunday’s match went a little half-way

Heliövaara lifted his shirt in the victory interview and revealed the support tapes made over the stomach and back.

“Harri has to fight physically. We are just happy and relieved to be able to continue,” Patten commented on his partner’s condition.

For the first time, the couple is the number one couple in the world rankings in the United States. Heliövaara does not feel that it brings additional pressure.

“It’s really nice to walk onto the pitch and listen to the introduction. Besides, it’s easy to find your name on the match chart. That’s probably the nicest thing, the rest happens on the pitch,” Heliövaara acknowledged.

In the third round, the world’s number 1s will meet the winner of the match Francisco Cabral/JJ Tracy–Nathaniel Lammons/Jackson Withrow.
