The first operations were registered in A3 for “Visec Soybeans”, with a differential price of US$ 10 per ton

As reported by A3, the volume negotiated under this modality reached 900 tons.

This type of operations was enabled by the entity as of last Monday. This is not a particular contract, but rather a “pass” between positions of the same month and the same client. Thus, A3 enabled this delivery condition, with a differential price of US$ 10 above the price of “Camera Soybeans.”

It is worth mentioning that to be considered “Visec Soybeans”, the company that ships this merchandise must be registered in the plataforma Visec which certifies that it is deforestation-free soybean based on the requirements of the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), which would come into force on December 30, 2026, as stipulated by the European bloc.

Thus, with the authorization of this pass, market operators who have purchased positions of “chamber soybeans” and are registered with Visec, will be able to access said differential price if they use the aforementioned financial instrument.

At the moment, A3 has not enabled a separate contract, but does not rule out doing so in the future, taking into account the evolution of these operations. Currently, there are open positions for soybeans that reach a volume of 4 million tons.

On the other hand, Positions identified as Visec cannot be traded individually. The entity, which enabled the operation this Monday, also clarified that the Soja Cámara contracts already registered will maintain the delivery conditions in force at the time of their agreement.

In this sense, they indicated that the activation of the new modality “will not modify these conditions nor automatically convert existing positions into VISEC Soybean positions.”
