The former Dynamo player went through agony in Ukraine: ‘Everything was great, and then chaos started…’

I need calm conditions for a new start, to revitalize my career, and I could not imagine myself in such circumstances, said the former Dynamo player Ivan Šaranić (21) who completed the transfer from Maksimir to Dubai, that is, the club, on Monday Al-Bataehu.

There are several turbulent weeks behind Šaranić. Last season he was on loan in Dugopolje, after which he went to Ukrainian Oleksandria, where he did not stay long. He shared his experience for Germaniak.

– The first day when I arrived in Oleksandria, everything was great. I met my teammates who received me nicely, the professional coach made it clear to me that they were glad that I came, as was the sports director. I did my training in the afternoon and went to sleep. As it was very hot, I left the window open. And then, just before midnight, chaos began. The first alarm was around midnight. I didn’t know what to do. And then just before morning I somehow fall asleep when a new alarm wakes me up. Sleepless as it is, I went to breakfast and training… Here’s a new alarm. I look at the coaches and teammates, it’s completely normal for them. No one, nothing, no reaction – explained the former Dynamo player.

The native of Siš did not think long. He admitted that it would be difficult to relax in those conditions and asked to leave the club.

– I simply realized that it is not for me. I need peaceful conditions for a new beginning, to revitalize my career, and I could not imagine myself in such circumstances. I honestly told this to the sports director, who asked me to wait a bit and think. He told me that they really want me, that they are building a new team and that they want to attack the places that lead to European competitions. However, I did not see myself there – he added.

Carpsć pointed out that the Ukrainian hosts were great and that he thanks them for their great hospitality. He also hopes that one day he will return to Dinamo, but with a smile on his face he points out that it is already fulfilled his dream and played four games for Dinamo.
