Henley & Partners: 2,500 millionaires will move to Israel by the end of the year

The British consulting company Henley & Partners, which monitors migration trends in the world of private capital and investment, has published another report, according to which Israel is a financial magnet for wealthy people.

The report was created in partnership with New World Wealth and includes projections for the net inflows and outflows of dollar millionaires in 2022.

According to data for the last quarter, Russia is facing the largest emigration of millionaires. The projected outflow will be 15 thousand people by the end of 2022, which is 15% of all high-income citizens. The outflow is also observed from Ukraine, where hostilities are taking place. By the end of the year, according to the forecast, 2,800 millionaires will leave Ukraine, which is 2,400 more than in 2019.

At the same time, Israel is expected to accept 2,500 dollar millionaires by the end of the year, which is 79% more than in 2019, and will enter the top ten countries with the highest influx of wealthy people.

In this kind of rating, the UAE is in first place (an influx of 4,000 millionaires is expected by the end of the year), Australia is second (3,500), Singapore is third (2,800), followed by Israel (2,500), Switzerland (2,200), the United States (1,500), Portugal (1300), Greece (1200), Canada (1000), New Zealand (800).

According to the Israeli publication Kalkalist, there are currently 107 thousand millionaires living in Israel, the fortune of 5560 of them exceeds 10 million dollars, the fortune of 260 is more than 100 million, and the fortune of 25 people is estimated at billions.
