Flying staff at Easyjet in Spain receive 22 percent more pay and end strike

The USO union has confirmed that the strike at the low-cost airline Easyjet in Spain has concluded. Over the course of three years, the salary rise for the air crew will be 22%. If one must work on the designated rest days, they will be paid for it as well. On this, the management and the unions came to an agreement.

At the start of the summer vacation, USO made the decision to cancel several days in July for flights to Barcelona, Malaga, and Mallorca. The remaining strike days, which were July 29, 30, and 31, are now over.

The strike notice at Ryanair in Spain was extended on Wednesday until the start of 2019. People are battling for improved pay and working conditions there as well.
