Economist Sanna Kurronen twists the iron wire about how the price of fuel will develop, even though it’s snowing on Twitter – “The price mechanism is a friend of our economists”

Economist Sanna Kurronen of the Business Delegation EVA, who will be moving to the Bank of Finland at the beginning of September, plans to continue twisting the iron thread of the economy on Twitter in her new position as well.

Kurronen says in the “Breakfast with Jari Korkin” video interview that he thinks artificially lowering the price of fuel is stupid, even though Finland does not import oil from Russia. The goal is to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels.

“The purpose of the sanctions is to make the economy of war-torn Russia miserable. If we import oil from Algeria, which as a result does not sell it to India, and India buys its oil from Russia, then Russia benefits”, explains Kurronen.

Kurronen’s interview will be published online in Kauppalehti and Uuiti Suomen on Saturday, August 20. at 08:00.
